Transportation for After School Programs: For the current school year and for Fall 2024/Spring 2025, the following schools are eligible for shuttle:

• Mills Elementary (M-F)
• Boone Elementary (M-F)
• Mariposa Montessori (W-F)
• Cowan Elementary (M&T)

Our programs run Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30PM. Students should bring water bottles and packed snacks. We provide snacks if needed, but recommend sending your child with a snack as well, and please keep in mind we are a peanut-free campus.

1.1 After School Enrichment Program

Schedule: Monday to Friday • 3:30 to 5:30PM

Ages: 5 to 14

Class Description: Figment’s After School Enrichment Program offers a variety of opportunities for your child to engage in creative play and critical thinking through process art, tinkering, and STEAM-centric projects. Every afternoon begins with outside play and snack time. Students should bring water bottles and packed snacks.

Tuition: Monthly payment options:

• 1 day/week — $225/month
• 2 days/week — $350/month
• 3 days/week — $425/month 
• 4 days/week – $455/month
• 5 days/week – $485/month

1.2 Digital Art & Maker Lab with Miss Mary Helen

Schedule: Mondays • 3:30pm to 5:30PM 

Ages: 8-14

Class Description: Explore the world of digital art and 3d design in this hands-on class. Students will learn how to illustrate, design, and fabricate both digital and 3-dimensional work with the help of software such as Procreate and Tinkercad and equipment like 3d printers, laser printers, and machine cutters. Please note that this class will require the use of an iPad and Stylus (Apple pencil preferred). The programs, Procreate and Tinkercad, must also be installed prior to class. Figment will have a limited number of iPads available for use during class, but students are encouraged to bring their own. (Please inform us if you can NOT bring an iPad.)

1.3 Ceramics After School Class

Schedule: Thursdays • 3:30 to 5:30PM

Ages: 8 to 13

Class Description: Join us for a ceramics class! Each month-long session will include hand building projects using pinch pot, coil, and slab techniques. Projects will vary each session – students can join for one session or continue on to improve their skills! We will fire their creations in our kiln so that they will be ready to display.

Tuition/Fees: Monthly cost: $175/month plus the $50 supply fee.

1.4 Science Lab After School Class

Schedule: Fridays • 3:30 to 5:30PM

Ages: 8 to 14

Class Description: Get your hands dirty with slimy, silly, and spectacular science fun during this after school class! Each week students will participate in a new hands-on science activity while learning about fundamental concepts of science and engineering. Activities such as chemistry experiments, engineering challenges, and STEM demonstrations will be offered to engage and delight curious minds.

Schedule: Monday to Friday • 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Ages: 5 to 14

Class Description: Figment’s Homeschool Group is designed to enrich your own curriculum with hands-on learning that’s rooted in S.T.E.A.M. principles. During each session, we spend time creating in the Art Studio or Maker Space and playing outside with friends. Each day, we explore a different topic, and students work on both guided and self-directed projects. With some notice, we’re happy to tailor activities to requested concepts and curriculum.

Homeschool Group at a glance

• Monday – Friday choose your day(s)
• Tues. & Thurs.: younger class for ages 5-7; older class for ages 8-14
• Each class is limited to 12 students
• We do some lessons outdoors, and eat outside (weather-permitting).
• Bring: a labeled bottle of water, a a peanut-free snack, a peanut-free packed lunch.

2.4 Hole Arte Spanish Immersion Class with Ms. Hanny

Schedule: Thursdays, 12:30-2:30 pm

Ages: 4-7

Class Description: Hola Arte is a creative space for your child to explore, learn, and interact in Español by combining artistic expression with language learning. Teaching children Spanish with process art is a fun way for them to practice their language skills while also. nurturing their creativity.

The children will need to bring one peanut-free snack and a refillable water bottle but need to arrive at class having already eaten for lunch.

3.1 Creative Pre-K Program

Schedule: Monday to Friday • 9AM to 2PM

Ages: 3-5 (potty trained)

Class Description: At Figment, we believe that creative expression and play are fundamental to every child’s emotional development, and Monday through Friday, we lead the kids through hands-on activities designed to spark each child’s unique imagination.

A typical day includes:

• Creating process art
• Exploring sensory stations
• Learning through play
• Circle Time for stories and songs
• Outdoor play and gardening 
• Time with Figment’s furry (and scaly) friends

Figment Creative Pre-K at a glance:

• Space limited to 12 students per class to 2 instructors.
• Enrollment options: Monday – Friday; Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Set monthly fee regardless of absences or holiday closures. Tuition is based on a total fee for the school year but is broken into monthly payments to make it easier for the families we serve. 

This class focuses on play-based learning and process art.

3.2 Toddler Play Group

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays • 10AM to 11:30AM

Ages: 0-4

Class Description: Designed for toddlers, but all ages welcome!

Figment’s weekly Toddler Art Play Group classes are a fantastic way to help your little ones explore and play in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment. Figment instructors set up a variety of delightful sensory and fine-motor skill stations in our designated Toddler Play Group area. Toddlers are encouraged to explore the activities at their own pace, building confidence in themselves and in their environment. 

Parking: Our parking lot and main entrance are located at the side of the property on Elija Street which is just off of Brodie Lane. Please enter through the nearby gate and stop by the main office to check in prior to Play Group. 

Dress for a mess! This class focuses on process art and play-based learning.

Tuition/Fees: $30/day drop in rate
