Unleash your creativity in this art workshop co-facilitated by JMF co-founder Sara Kocek & doodle artist Jennifer Hill Flores. We’ll use doodling as a doorway into the subconscious, not to make something impressive, but to pull to the surface what’s already there and just waiting to be discovered. There will be no prompts to “draw a thing” and no right answers or aesthetic goals, just lines, shapes, color, and curiosity. We’ll play with paint pens, alcohol markers, tape, layering, and intuitive mark-making. You’ll be invited to let your hand move before your brain has time to approve. Expect a mix of guided artistic exercises and open, free-flowing time to connect with your fellow joyful motherfuckers.

Plan Your Own Ladies’ Art Night!

Looking for a unique girls’ night out or a creative way to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette party, or just an evening with friends? Host your own private art night at Figment Creative Labs in South Austin!

Our Ladies’ Art Nights are a fun and flexible alternative to traditional paint-and-sip classes. Rather than copying the same painting, your group gets to explore your own creativity with a customized project — from painting to journaling to mixed media crafts.

Here’s how it works:

• $150 covers your group of 4 participants
• $35 per additional guest
• 2-hour workshop led by a professional instructor
• All art supplies included
• BYOB welcome — bring snacks, drinks, and your favorite people!

We’ll help tailor the project to your group’s interests — whether you’re into watercolor, collage, or something totally outside the box. Events are typically held on Friday or Saturday evenings (6–8 PM), but we’re happy to coordinate a time that works best for your group.
