In these workshops, an instructor leads a class where you can learn new skills and end up with your very own piece of art to take home. From journaling, to collaging, to painting, we’ve done it all! We provide all the supplies you need and encourage you to bring snacks and drinks!
Vintage Sale | Sept. 29th | 8-1PM
Join us on Sunday, Sept. 29th for a vintage sale! Peruse old knick-knacks, vintage denim, home decor, jewelry, and what-nots! Shop items from Figment, as well as Jennifer Perkins, Hope Perkins, and Sandra Said! Come for the collectibles, or come for the inspiration! The sale will take place outdoors in the parking lot of Figment (or indoors if the weather is cranky!). We hope to see you there!
Broken Jewelry Halloween Trees | Sun. Sept. 15th, 6-9PM | $75
If you love broken jewelry Kitschmas Trees, just wait until you try making a Halloween version! That’s right, instructor Jennifer Perkins has whipped up a spooky take on this fun project just for Figment.
Each student will receive an 8X10″ wood frame with a Halloween fabric themed background and access to TONS of black, orange and white vintage bric-a-brac. If you have seen the goodies in the Kitschmas Tree or Valentine’s Day Heart classes this is the same concept but in Halloween colors.
No experience necessary and all supplies are provided. If you have the perfect pieces of goth glitz, black bauble or spooky sparkle you want to include in your tree please feel free to bring along.
Monster Mouth Halloween Wreaths | Sun. Sept. 22nd, 1-4PM | $60
Let’s make a monster! Instructor Jennifer Perkins will bring the fun fur and giant googly eyes, you bring your imagination. This quirky monster wreath project has been featured on places like The Today Show, Creativebug and HGTV – now you can make your very own version!
No experience necessary – if you can use a glue gun and wrap yarn, you’re all set! Seats are limited and all supplies are provided. Come join the fun and bring a bit of Halloween whimsy to your front door.
Tiny Taxidermy
Oct. 12th, 6-9pm or Oct. 13th, 10am-1pm | $165
Join us in October for a tiny taxidermy class at Figment Creative Labs! Learn mouse taxidermy from vintage crafter Brandy Evans of Pocket Full of Heirlooms. Participants get to take home their taxidermy mouse project! Supplies such as the feeder mouse, taxidermy block, scalpel, gloves, and step-by-step instructions will all be provided during the class.
Class options: Oct. 12th from 6-9pm or Oct. 13th from 10am-1pm

Session could be cancelled if there is not enough interested. We will let you know ASAP if this happens. We ask that cancellations be made before 24 hours to recieve a full refund. Cancellations made the day of the event are ineligible for refund.
Sequined Pumpkin Party | Oct. 18th | 6-9PM | $40
There are so many ways to decorate a faux pumpkin, but none quite as sparkly as one covered in sequins! These pumpkins were originally a fun project created by instructor Jennifer Perkins for Michaels stores and now she is bringing the bling to Figment.
Each student will have their choice of a white, orange or black pumpkin to decorate. Students will have the option to paint or decoupage their pumpkins before they begin, or they are welcome to leave them as is. The real fun begins when you sort through tons of new and vintage sequins and beads to create your perfect pumpkin.
All supplies are included, no experience necessary and seats are limited. Snag a spot to get your spooky sparkle on!
Broken Jewelry Kitschmas Trees | Nov. 17th | 3-6PM | $100
Remember your grandmother’s jewelry tree? The framed Kitschmas tree made of broken costume jewelry? In this class we are going to whip up an extra colorful and kitschy version! Instructor Jennifer Perkins is known to have over 100 Christmas trees up at any given time during December and she wants to help you with your own over the top holiday traditions!
Jen will supply everything you need including felt, picture frames, glue, pompoms, and of course more sparkly vintage tree filler than Santa could fit in a single sleigh ride.
This is one of Jen’s most popular classes and it always sells out. Have you taken this class before? Guess what? Jen shops ALL YEAR LONG to replenish her stash of bits and baubles so there are all new goodies to sort through. PLUS the only thing better than one broken jewelry tree is two. ALSO – this year Jennifer will be bringing cones and small stand up tree forms if you would like to make a different 3D version without the frame.

Felt Tree Skirts | Nov. 23rd | 6-9PM | $75
Joan Crawford used to say, “no more wire hangers”. Instructor Jennifer Perkins says, “no more ugly Christmas tree bases!” Cover that tree stand in style with your own vintage inspired felt Kitschmas tree skirt. No sewing required, this is a strictly gluing stuff to stuff type of party.
We won’t be gluing just any old stuff… Jennifer will have a mix of new and vintage felt items to create a one of a kind heirloom your great grandkids will want to put under their own trees. Sparkle, a sense of Christmas whimsey, and LOT’s of pompom trim will be involved.
Everything for class will be provided including red felt standard size Christmas tree skirts. There will be pre-cut shapes to choose from as well as felt and fabric to use with stencils to create your own one of a kind designs.
Kitschmas Angel Tree Topper | Dec. 7th | 6-9PM | $50
No Kitschmas Tree is complete without the perfect angel sitting on top! Actually these adorable handmade angels can sit anywhere you want, no tree necessary! Once you make one you won’t be able to stop and no surface will be safe.
Jennifer Perkins will bring her stash of new and vintage Kitschmas fabrics to use as a dress for your angel – that way you can match them to your own personal holiday decor. The run really begins when you start to play Project Runway holiday edition embellishing your angel with sequins, pompoms and trim galore. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! Jennifer will also be bringing a variety of vintage angel heads, wings and halos to choose from. It’s like Build-a-Bear but for kitschy holiday angels.
Everything is provided but if you have a doll head, fabric or sparkly doodad you want to include of course feel free to bring it along. Seats are limited.

Our Ladies’ Art Nights are a fabulous alternative to standard paint and sip classes. Instead of teaching you how to make the same painting as everyone else, we’ll help you tap into your own creativity. We love to tailor our classes to each group by understanding what you are interested in and what you want to create!
Our Art Nights begin at $150 for a group of four, and each additional participant is $30. Depending on supplies needed for the the project, the price may go up. The Ladies’ Art Nights are two hours, and while they are often on Friday’s and Saturday’s from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, we can be flexible depending on our instructors availability!
