Everything and the Kitchmas Sink Wreath Art Night

When: Saturday, Dec 6 • 6–9pm

Who says wreaths only hang on front doors – this wreath will be so full of kitschmas glory you will want to hang it right above the fireplace for Santa to admire.

Instructor Jennifer Perkins has been a long time hoarder of holiday decor and a firm believer in gluing stuff to stuff. In Everything and the Kitschmas Sink Wreath, she’ll combine those two passions, so you’ll leave with the wreath of your dreams (assuming your dreams include slightly tacky over the top holiday decor).

There will be wreaths for everyone, new and vintage ornaments, holiday tchotchkes and more hot glue than you can shake a stick at.  As anyone who has ever taken a class with Jen can attest… half the fun is sorting through the huge buffet of new and vintage treasures to create your masterpiece.

Kitchmas Ornament Art Night

Join host Jennifer Perkins for a night of Kitschmas crafting fun! Everyone remembers the diorama ornaments that hung from grandma’s tree – now is your chance to make your own. There will be ready made diorama ornies, but Jen will also walk you through how to make your own. Expect a buffet of mini holiday goodness like tiny trees, pint size pinecones and super short Santas PLUS all the trimmings.

Everything is included and you are welcome to make several ornaments during class. Bring some Christmas cookies or snacks to share, we will have the holiday music cranked up and the glue guns hot. Holiday attire optional but always highly encouraged.

Oh Dolly! Cake Mix Junk Journal Art Night

Let’s celebrate Dolly Parton’s birthday with a fun filled craft party!

Did you know you can make your own adorable journal out of junk – including an empty box of Dolly Parton cake mix! Well one man’s junk is another man’s… In this fun filled class Jennifer Perkins will walk you through the steps to make your own pink perfection junk journal with a cake box cover.

Everything you need will be provided from new and vintage papers to pompom trim, but as always feel free to bring any favorite pieces of ephemera. Items such as old greeting cards, sheets of scrapbook paper or pieces of your kid’s school art all work great. Everything I bring will be in shades of pink and yellow to match the covers.

Once you know the basics of bookbinding you are on your way to create all kinds of journals. Come join the pink party and enjoy some Dolly Parton cupcakes and a Dolly soundtrack while we craft.

Plan Your Own Ladies’ Art Night!

Looking for a unique girls’ night out or a creative way to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette party, or just an evening with friends? Host your own private art night at Figment Creative Labs in South Austin!

Our Ladies’ Art Nights are a fun and flexible alternative to traditional paint-and-sip classes. Rather than copying the same painting, your group gets to explore your own creativity with a customized project — from painting to journaling to mixed media crafts.

Here’s how it works:

• $150 covers your group of 4 participants
• $35 per additional guest
• 2-hour workshop led by a professional instructor
• All art supplies included
• BYOB welcome — bring snacks, drinks, and your favorite people!

We’ll help tailor the project to your group’s interests — whether you’re into watercolor, collage, or something totally outside the box. Events are typically held on Friday or Saturday evenings (6–8 PM), but we’re happy to coordinate a time that works best for your group.
