At Figment Creative Labs, our Pre-K program is built on one simple belief: creative expression and play are essential for every child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. Ages 3 to 5 are a magical window of development, and we’ve designed our program to nurture curiosity, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
We keep our classes small—just 12 students with two instructors—so every child is truly seen, heard, and encouraged. Our days are full of hands-on experiences that allow children to explore at their own pace and follow their own interests.
A typical day might start in the art studio, where students experiment with color, texture, and form—learning to express ideas without the pressure of “perfection.” From there, they may explore sensory stations that spark curiosity and strengthen fine motor skills, or gather for Circle Time to share stories, build language skills, and engage in emotional learning.
Outdoor play is a daily essential. Whether tending our garden, building in the outdoor maker space, or caring for our beloved furry (and scaly) friends, children learn empathy, responsibility, and the interconnectedness of the world around them. We believe nature is one of the best classrooms, and we make sure it’s a part of our everyday rhythm.
Of course, play is never “just play.” It’s the foundation of problem-solving, social skills, and creative thinking. When children design a block tower, pretend to run a store, or make a new game with friends, they’re practicing the very skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
Our Pre-K runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM, with flexible schedule options for families. Tuition is a set monthly fee, making planning simple, and because our classes are in high demand, space is limited.
